Record stores and TuneDig have one pretty major common thread: we both exist to connect music lovers with the music they love.
We’ve been exploring how to do this for several years through an app called MusicGrid.me, which led to partnerships with Criminal Records and the Alliance of Independent Media Stores. We took our own pioneering technology and applied it to their existing promotional platform, making their web presence more functional and stylish (not to mention saving them lots of money along the way).
We’re continuing to research and develop technology that helps stores connect with their customers in meaningful ways. We believe more music lovers want to “buy local” more often than not – but in most cases, the technology doesn’t permit them to conveniently do so yet. That’s where we come in.
It’s time for record stores to reclaim their place as music culture gurus. We don’t believe technology undermines that – quite the contrary. The right tools, used the right way, extend your reach of your store’s brand and create relationships with new fans across the world. We can help you build that.
